Yaji is the spice mix behind suya, the street grill classic you'll find all over Nigeria and West Africa. Ground peanuts, dried chili, ginger and a few other things we keep to ourselves.
We rub it into beef fillet, goat and chicken, grill it over high heat, and serve extra on the side for anyone who wants more fire.

Where is KFFO Afro Steakhouse?
We're at 14097 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77082, on Westheimer Road in the Eldridge area of west Houston. Street parking and lot parking are right out front.
What are your hours?
We're open Tuesday to Saturday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 AM. We're closed on Sunday and Monday.
What is suya?
Suya is thin sliced beef rubbed with yaji, a West African spice mix built on ground peanuts, chili and ginger, then grilled hot and fast. Our Faya Suya uses beef fillet and comes with onions, tomatoes and extra yaji on the side.
Do you do pickup and delivery?
Yes. You can order pickup directly on our online ordering page, or get delivery through DoorDash and Uber Eats. You can also call us to place a pickup order.
Can I book KFFO for a private event?
Yes. Our space hosts private gatherings, art showcases and seasonal events. Call us and tell us the date, the headcount and what kind of night you have in mind.
