Why we opened KFFO

Houston eats from everywhere, and West African food has had a home here for a long time. What we didn't see enough of was a place that treated suya, goat meat and pepper soup with the same respect a steakhouse gives a ribeye. So we built one.

Our kitchen leans on spice traditions from across West Africa, especially yaji, the peanut and chili blend behind suya. It goes on our beef fillet, our chicken and our goat. Next to that you'll find steakhouse staples like ribeye, lamb chops and lobster tail, all seasoned our way.

The menu keeps moving. We bring in specials that show off different regional dishes and techniques, so there's usually something new to try even if you're here every week.
